So I was sold a broken watch in m2m by an unscrupulous seller. It’s the hublot 4000m pictured below. The movement is running poorly, staggers around and generally sucking.
For some reason this is a 7750 with an adapter to run center seconds, no chrono, etc. not sure why they use the 7750 here.
Is there another more standard movement I can swap this for? Something that can mount up the same, or with a different movement holder. Similar hand dimensions? Date wheel location?
Or is my only choice to service the 7750 and hope for the best?
I don’t care about the internal looks, I just want a reliable watch and a smooth seconds hand.
