This is proving to be the most difficult problem I have faced with a rep.
I'm trying to make my BR01-92 work again and cannot find a replacement movement. At the moment the dealers can't get me the extra thin chinese 21J that it came with and Cousins and Ofrie do not sell one. The nearest they do is the DG4813 which is 1mm at 4.6mm wider than the original mechansim.
One thing I have been looking at is the Seagull ST18 and I wondered if this would fit? It is exactly the same thickness as I need but I am worried about the stem removal button. Due to the way it is released on the B&R (through a screw hole in the back of the case) it would have to be in exactly the same place as before or I wouldn't be able to remove the stem again.
Any help and advice would be appreciated. At present it looks like all owners of Bell and Ross watches will simply have to buy another watch when theirs stops ticking.
