Can i Install 2824-2 into a gen rolex 1603 case ?

Got a gen Rolex 1603 case with 16000 Screw back my plan is build it with gen parts except movement ofcourse , ETA 2824 is good ? or any other idea ? l looking for a movement wich is dont need a lot modification , planning to order a gen "pie pan" 1603 Dial with hands as well

I built a 1016 with a 1601 case and a 2824-2 movement- it was an easy deal but a piepan dial could be a different matter. I did use a movement spacer. I would think a 2824 and a 16000/16200 DJ dial would work.

I built this watch 14 years ago, so I don't remember where the movement spacer came from.

I believe the crystal was a T-21 from Clark's, gen 24-600 crown, custom bezel from jmb, gen swiss eta that I had purchased for $79 back in the day, relumed Explorer dial from LHOOQ, hands from Clark's- good lume also and a folded link bracelet from Mary. Watch is WR and good for swimming.
Oh, I got the case from Andrew Shear up in NYC for $132!
