I should probably do this in the Flame-Free zone where its "Free" to ask a dumb question but I shall pose it here and see what I get........

Why do I see Rolex Crowns and Movements in some Panerai's?

I said it was a dumb question but I seriously wonder and dont know the answer.......Im sure there must be some type of history behind it though.
