I have a panerai dial from a luminor I’m not entirely certain of its orgin it’s a 4line dial reads “marina militarae” above hands and “luminor panerai “ below now based on my research gen 4 line dials did exist but most were done with Lume being tritium indicated with the “t Swiss t” markings below six however I’ve heard some people who sent in their “t dials “ got back “L” dials after servicing due to the switch made by panerai from t to luminova however I could be mistaken . I geuss what I am asking is how do I tell if a panerai dial is gen I see the back is the same black color as the rest of the dial whereas most reps I have had have a silver backplate if this is correct or incorrect I’m unsure but please have a look and any input is appreciated
