Open the back casing. If it is what most Cartier reps have under the hood, it would be the Miyota movement. That Ballon bleu should be running an in-house movement by Cartier. Best way to find out is just bring it to a Cartier retail and ask to verify.

Start doing research like the rest of us or take it to Cartier to verify if you don’t want open the back.
