Can 42mm PO on DG4813 be franken?

I've read many posts saying that the gen hands and dial would probably not fit to the cheap DG4813 PO.
But I need to know for sure. Has anyone tried and know for sure?
I'm thinking about putting the gen dial, hands and crown to this super rep.
Do I need to buy Asian ETA or not necessarily?

The hands won't fit. You could probably get the dial to fit but you'd need some work. Much, much easier to ask a dealer for an Asia ETA 2836 for $80 and use that.

at trevor i think the difference is only 60 so thats a nobrainer , take the 2824!
