Calling Noob PAM 177 Owners

Hey guys. I've just received a reply from Ryan at InTime regarding stock availability for a Noob PAM 177. He only has M Serial 177's left, and no more of the latest P Serial.

I've read through the PAM Guide sticky and I know that both the Noob M and P Serials are classed as "Super Reps", and my impression after reading the 177 section in the guide is that the M itself is already a fantastic rep and the P doesn't really improve on anything except an updated caseback engraving to P instead of M.

Should I just go with the M Serial 177? Or should I try get a P Serial from another TD? I do know for a fact Toro has the P Serial in stock, but he's yet to get back to me on his PAM 243 (M Serial) availability. I'd rather get both from the same TD.

Are there any improvements found on the Noob P versus the Noob M? Can any one of you PAM or 177 experts/owners shed some light on this please?

Thanks for your time guys :)

You should buy a N-series or P-series
Both have the improvements of V3 cases from Noob. Mainly a better CG

M series are old Noob batches from July 2012 to Mars 2013

Thanks for the tips ALE!! Good thing I haven't pulled the trigger just yet.

I will ask Ryan again to see if he can source an N or P Serial for me. Fingers crossed!! :)

If Ryan has no N or P series buy it from Toro or Puretime no worries about that

Thanks ALE. Will do :)

I know for a fact Toro has it in stock, but he hasn't replied my message from 6 days ago :s

I'm going to get a Noob PAM 243 M Series for my brother (Christmas gift) at the same time too, so I thought it would be easier getting them both from the same TD in one go, and Ryan has by far been the most consistent in replying.

PureTime, on the other hand, still haven't replied my Noob Sub-C V3 stock availability query from 3 months ago LOL :D

Quick update. I settled with M at MarvellousReplicas in the end and so far, I couldn't be happier. He's been extremely prompt and polite with his emails.

Turns out he also has the latest P series PAM177 as well, so win-win for me. Going through the QC photos at the moment.

Should the 177 crown guard have right angles (90 degree) for inside corners on both sides? Because it appears from the photos, one of my inside corners doesn't look that way.

I'm so glad you posted this thread because I'm actually looking for a PAM177 also and was wondering about the N series vs P series differences.

Who did you end up ordering your P series PAM177 from?

Hey man :)

According to ALE above, you can't really go wrong with either the N or P series 177. They're both better than the M series for sure though (better CG).

I went with Mr M at MarvellousReplicas in the end. Contacted three TD's simultaneously over the past week, and Mr M has by far been prompt with his replies, been the most informative and patient with my questions. My first time buying from him and so far, I would definitely buy from him again. He has the 177 listed as an N series on his website, but I got an email along with the QC pics saying he actually has the latest P series :)

The QC pics he's sent me are quite detailed too. I do have a few QC issues with the watch (possible dust/scratch on minute hand and sharpness of right angle inner corner of CG), but it could all just be the pics themselves playing tricks. Awaiting Mr M's reply for clarification.

I'd post them here to get other people's opinions, but I don't think we're allowed to share QC pics? :)
