To those that own the Z6F Cal1887, how did you find the AR quality? Was out of box AR coating reasonably effective? I am looking at acquiring the blue dial and want that full sunburst effect

You can always get a good 2xAR crystal installed if you want the best clarity. No matter how good the rep crystals are they are nowhere as good as the ones you can buy
I own a V6F blue dial 1887 and the crystal out of the box is a little cloudy.
Plan on getting prof's 2x clear AR coating.
I did it on my black dial 1887 and the results are jaw dropping.

I have the silver dial version and the crystal looks absolutely fine on it to me from someone who owns 2 watches with Prof crystals.
If you don't want to get it modified then that'd be the way to go as the lighter the dial colour the less impact the crystal has on the appearance of the watch IMO. I think double AR on the silver one would be almost pointless.
I don't know if V6 get all their crystals from the same place but the one that came on my V6 CrPO was awful.
