CAD Model Docs

This will be an ongoing Google doc that will share CAD and any other manufacturing engineering data. I have a machine shop and access to a manufacturing lab including metrology. You will eventually see a complete PLM project out of this. Permissions will be set to downloads on accessories and parts only. Once I get CAD data on case sets and other things, access will be limited to only those that PM me. I will announce when certain data is available.

CAD comes from Solidworks and 3DX. PLM Project data will be setup on a 3DExperience server. I will open the process plan data to those who can actually contribute to it.

I have access to a 3Dscanner and a CMM. If you would like to get CAD data on something, message me and I will see if we can add it to the dataset. Better yet, if you have any, please share

Vintage or hard to find case sets. Looking for 98% accurate case sets to document. Happy to collab so that we can preserve the data of hard to find parts.

GMT Master II Crystal Press Fixture

Built this for a cheapo screw down press. Tested with PLA. Notes on print settings in readme. Watch case tested is the GF GMT Master II.

Ive got a Faro Gage ScanArm CMM, Autodesk Inventor, Haas VF4, and Haas VF0, XYZ 520 Minimill, XYZ SMX3000 and a Prodways L5000 3d dental printer, Hyundai HIT30, 18 and 15s auto lathes too. Few toys and a big electricity bill. What scan/cmm software do you use? not used mine much, looking for cam2 but cant find it.

To answer this question, we have Renishaw hardware so all metrology is either handled through Modus or from the Dassault Systemes platform. I try to keep everything within DS products but had to use Modus because it is pretty damn good and outputs OPC-UA data for our platform.
