So I have spotted a gorgeous gold vintage junghans meister on ebay which is for spares or repair. Recently gotten into junghans after purchasing a beautiful 38mm junghans max bill automatic on a special black friday deal. I'd like to add to my collection but I blew a lot of the budget on the new one!
The issue seems to be that the crown is loose and falls out. Perhaps it's an easy fix and I have access to very cheap watch repairs as I live in ho chi minh City, vietnam. My only question is, if it's not a simple fix and parts are presumably rather difficult to come by over here, would it be simple enough for the repair guy just to take the movement out completely and stick in a cheap chinese replica hand wind? Is it a fairly straightforward process to put a generic movement they could easily source or does it not work like that?
Many thanks in advance guys!
