One year ago I bought the 108$ from Trusty and it was completely different from what he shows in his pictures.
I've trown that rubbish away

yes, but we dont talk about him - Im sure trevor could get this watch cheaper

it seems most say this movement is no good for a GMT - unreliable (I know PIX says his is ok, but maybe he's just lucky???)

The modified 2836 GMT movements are problematic...Ziggy would not work on them at all...

Try to buy the old school original 2893 ones when they come up for sale from private collectors...But you gonna need patience and luck plus a bunch of cash to get one..

the 21j version is a piece of junk - it can be bought for $80

what is it that makes it junk? the 21j im told is nice and reliable - whereas the more expensive 2836-2 is UN-reliable

what else? I know its glass Vs sapphire

The finishing on the a21j version is not good

the dial is quite poor, the numerals and dial markers are deformed over the surface of the tuxedo texture

the dial font is very thin and difficult to fix.

i actually like the 2836 gmt and have experienced good reliability
It is also moddable.
