Hi all,
I just wanted to share with you all my experience with buying from Watch Bitz (Offshore); a tool and parts dealer here on RWI.
I ordered a small lot of tools about a month ago, but because of CNY, some of the items were on back order. Alan offered to ship what he had, then forward the rest at no extra cost when they came in. As I wasn't in a hurry, I said I was happy to wait until the order was fulfilled.
Anyway, I received an email last Tuesday to say my items were available, and today they arrived. Well packaged, and everything I asked for.
But here are the three things that will make me buy from Offshore again;
even with the shipping costs from Australia, our RWI discount meant it was still CHEAPER to get these tools imported, rather than my local watch material store (in the UK); Alan is a great guy to deal with, and keeps you informed via email of what's going on with your order (it's nice to deal with a human, instead of an automated confirmation email); the final little surprise - what I assumed were cheap hand removers were actually genuine Bergeon Presto #1. I won't tell you the price, but man, that was a good deal!
In short, buy from Offshore with confidence. If he doesn't have what you need, chances are you don't need it.
