Brushed Train Gears Tutorial?

hey guys, has anyone posted a tutorial on how to brush the train gears on a 111 movement? I can't find one anywhere. thanks in advance.

I've done this yesterday. I've used 1200 grid sandpaper for the brushing. But i'am not 100% happy with the result. So i do it today again.

The funny thing is, the brushed gold looks now silver from some angles.

Be careful not to brush too much plating away.

Yes that is what happens. I have ordered new wheels today for a second try. Learning by doing [emoji12]

You never know what parts are plated. Just get the gen wheel.
