Brown PAM399 just arrived

Hi.

Just wanted to share my new PAM399 with coffee bean brown coloured dial.
I bought to match my belt and dark brown suite shoes from Lloyds.
What do you think?


(Could find my tripod so it isn't as sharp it could have been)

Oooohhh, how I wish it was a gen =)
No, just got it from Hont.
It's not perfect in details in comparison to the gen but still,
according to me, a high quality rep.
For example, the buckle should be polished and the "radiomir panerai" text on the dial has the wrong size. But I don't care about that on this watch,
because it's mainly for matching my new shoes and the belt.
The 399 is a 40's style 2012 limited edition.

I try to have a combo for every situation too. This is the perfect excuses for many watches ;-)

Very deformed dial by the Plexy in rep, the gen has an impossible dome almost without deformation.

How about the caseback and movement?

Hard to copy the Minerva OPXXVII with a sapphire caseback. Isn't it?

Some yes:
Not the same movement
No serial number on the side
A little smaller "officine panerai" on the dial

OK... I didn't see the gen before I ordered the rep...
So I won't fool a gen dealer, but I must say it looks awesome anyways.

There are no other reps of this model. Atleast what I could find.
I hope there will be 1:1 reps. Then I will sell mine and get the new one.

Two guys at my work saw my rep and they want to order now...

But that's two different approaches why a guy gets a rep,
to get a 1:1 copy for ego/other reasons or get a nice watch that excels everything else you can get at your local watch dealer for that price.

I'm at the moment in-between those approaches.
My next two watches will be a 1:1 Luminor with 2 layer dial and a B01 Breitling.

If you have a tip for my next PAM so feel free

No, really your watch is beautiful and looking very good, of course
I like a lot the combo Radiomir Luminor of this case.

Hehe.. don't worry 'bout it.
The asians are sometimes clueless when doing stuff...
When we were in Thailand a couple of years ago we saw, at restaurant at a hotel,
Santa Claus on the cross.. Just an effort to please the customers, but clueless about how to mix things right

So I now understand that my 399 in a good looking unholy mix
