Those springbars from eBay will work perfectly -- no sliding and are the only real solutions when the quick-release pins fall out. Those QRPs are finicky and it may have fallen off during shipping. Its only a matter of time with those things, unfortunately.
Common issue even on the genuine. Once it breaks it is almost impossible to repair (often this small parts are lost). The solution is to go with springbars, I have them on my 356 that is suffering of the same problem

I don’t think that was the case. I noticed that in every picture lug with broken QRS was covered with finger of just cut off the picture.
That’s a tad shady, but it’s one of those things you kick yourself for not thinking about when buying a watch secondhand. There’s always a lesson haha. Those bars you found on eBay should be perfect. And you’ll be surprised how close they look to regular screw-in style bars.

The 24s will fit fine. Perfectly. I have those same spring bars that I got for a similar situation and they’re fine. But if there are any removable parts on the lugs or in the mechanism there, I’d pull the out. It’s tough to see as the pic is blurry.
I ordered one of those spring bars. I actually need just one because other QRP is fine. In the meantime I was able to put that watch on a black nylon strap that hold quick release bar very tight in place so i don't think it will slide on its own. It seems secured.
Its a great watch in a good condition but I feel that seller played me because high quality hand-made croc strap turned out to be total crap. the thing with those hard to get reps is that we do overpay for them because they are so rare and if u miss it you will be like " Why Didn't I Get It ????!! "
I’ve done that so many times. You see someone selling a model no longer available for $250 over market because they include 5 straps. Most of which wouldn’t get $10 by they selves but they’re added in full retail.
and three months down the road you’re telling yourself “damn. I should have bought it”. Especially when you see someone else posting it in the wristies thread.
Yeah I think I overpayed. All together, shipping and PP fees, it was $440. Seller stated it was on a high quality hand made crock strap it looked good on pictures but it turned out to be worst strap i ever felt in my hands, worst than low grade rep straps. I won't even keep it. I will trow it out.
But I the watch itself seems to be good except for that broken QRP. I always wanted 301k The Ghost and you don't see them on m2m too often. I think last one I saw on M2m was around 7 years ago.
To clarify it I didn't buy it on RWI.
Since I was able to guess where you got it from, I have contacted the seller so you can discuss an amicable resolution.
