Hi.
I'm in need of advice.
Mod: please move my post, if it's in a wrong section. Thank you!

Yesterday i received my first rep, from InTime Watches, I'm stil happy with the buy!
Upon reception I did notice the "sticky" rotor, but thought it just needed a days heat from the wrist and use, to get normal - being a new watch and all.(I'm also new to automatics)
I have still not contacted Ryan from InTime watches, and if I can fix this my self, it would be great. I'm not sure i'm willing to go through all the hassle with returning the watch, and so on.

After a days use the problem still persists.
Is it possible/easy to fix myself? I've included a video, please review it. Sorry for the semi-bad video!
I hope it's possible to troubleshoot from it.

The video of the rotor

I can't embed the video, anyone knows how to?
Please write if link is dead or other :)

Thank you!

My first impression is that it's normal.

Have you actually worn it for a couple of days? Does it keep the mainspring wound without having to manually wind it?

If it won't do a complete circle with a little pressure and sticks on something, that would be a problem. If it's just a little tighter on some spots, that's quite normal.

Thank you!

I got it yesterday, so no i haven't worn it for a couple days, yet.
It can do a ful circle, but only at some distinct angles.
I will wait some days, and see.

I can't tell whether or not it automatically winds the watch, yesterday I gave it quite a manual charge - and i don't know how long the power reserve is :)

But thank you for giving me your advice!

Hi again.

Now i can with certainly say, that the rotor does not wind the watch.

That leaves me with a repair job.
I can't afford to send it to a watch maker, or other.
So I would be vary happy for all the pointers I can get.

I will try to take of the rotor, see if I can see the problem, and fix it.
I hope it is simple!
