I purchased a FER 008 used. There were several parts missing or damaged that resulted in the chrono reset button no longer working (this was fully disclosed by the seller). Here is a photo of the missing parts (taken from the start/stop button):
The parts I need are the two shown inside the red circle. The part to right is the actual spring for the reset button. The part to the left is just a simple metal plug that slides inside the movement (the spring pushes against this plug to reach the reset lever in the 7750 movement). In other words, the spring goes between the actual pusher button and the plug.
My question is where can I get these parts??? I e-mailed a couple of dealers, but neither even bothered to respond (not surprising).
Does anyone know if any other Pam chrono models use these exact same parts? I have never examined any other Pam chrono model, but I assume many of them share the same parts. If I could compile a list of all the models that use this same spring, I might be able to find a damaged one on the used market with a good spring (wishful thinking).
Any help greatly apprecaited.
