Broken crown tube?

I've had made DSN PAM005 for more than 1 year already. Recently I noticed it was difficult to pull the crown out to adjust the time. The crown didn't want to stay out but would move back slightly so that it was only for winding.

So brought it to my friendly neighborhood watch repair guy and he says that the crown tube is broken. Shit! He also said that he couldn't fix it. Him being Thai and me not really understanding it completely - am not sure if he cannot fix it because he doesn't know how, or that he doesn't have a crown tube to fix it.

So the question is - how can I get it fixed? I presumably should get in touch with DSN for spares...

Thanks

Yep, I would start with getting a spare crown tube from DSN. Then try to find someone near you that can fix it. Maybe you could send it back to DSN for the repair?

Just a thought.

Just to let you know that DNS is going to send me the crown tubes free of charge!

I prefer to try to fix it locally - the cost / risk of sending it to DSN is too much for me to bear.
