Hey,

I'm looking for a Breitling SuperOcean Heritage Blue Dial 46mm Steel Woven band replica watch--but not sure where to get it, who has best quality, etc.

Most concerned about the weight of the watch and how the blue dial looks (i.e. the quality)....Anybody know where to get the best quality one for the lowest price? Please either message or reply...Thanks

The reps don't come with the steel mesh band, either leather or rubber (get the rubber). I got my SOH from Trusty (Black with ocean racer rubber)- I love it! Make sure that you get the latest version which can easily be identified by the tail of the "p" in "superocean" almost touching the top of the "A" in Automatic on the dial like this: http://NoMoreJAndrews.XXX(mod edit)
. Get a steel mesh band (i recommend this one: http://lonestarwatches.com/3.2Mesh.htm and you are all set.

Hey Rob, welcome to RWI. There is a wealth of information here. Since you already know the watch you want I would recommend looking at our trusted dealers list and picking one you feel most comfortable with. Some dealers are across seas and some are in the conus. Some are a little faster and some reply to every PM as if the have a blackberry on them the entire time, its just what you want. I would also recommend looking at some of the reviews on the SOH in the Breitling area. Again welcome!

Rob,

Welcome as well!

I can assure you that the "latest" version of the SOH is excellent rep. It is very solidly built, hefty, heavy, however you want to say it. Because of its size and high polish finish (esp. if you put it on the mesh) the SOH is an attention grabber. Good Luck with your purchase.

Thanks. Do you know if there is one available with a replica breitling woven steel band anywhere? I don't mind at all getting another steel band that will fit, but if I can get one that has all the engravings/markings of course I'd prefer that...thanks.

No rep mesh bracelet exist. You should be able to buy a genuine bracelet at a dealer though. I'm guessing they'll cost a lot.

If you know a good jeweler, they may be able to graft the rep clasp from the rubber bracelet (or any other breitling deployant clasp) onto the lonestar mesh.

I don't think have a non branded mesh bracelet will detract any from "authenticity" of your replica though. A lot of people put aftermarket mesh bands on gen divers.

kk thanks. Do you know which size I should get in the lonestar? Ie. 24mm or 20mm? I looked at the breitling website and it said the length bet. lugs was 24mm/20mm...

Not sure if that means you are supposed to get a 20mm band width or a 24mm.....thanks.

And I'll check for the info on combining the breitling latches to the lonestar...

24mm lug width.

the 24/20 refers to the lug width/buckle width.

Also you might see numbers on straps like 115/75 which refer to the length of each part the strap (in mm)

i had a few of these straps fo $ 39 that i sold. very cheap and good strap for the buck.

my buddy rather bought one from JUERGENS for 139.

same size, same thickness, same everything.

you can also buy a gen POLPROF Omega, they sell for around $ 350 on ebay.

sorry, i had 5 of them, 2 i kept for myself.

the lonestar is the best quality for the money ( a high quality band ) .......but i love mine for the $ 40.......looks the same.

i would never ever go for the gen Breitling. its so overpriced.
