Breitling Superocean 44mm YG new release

I was interested in this new release as I’ve always liked the black/gold combination, not too much gold just a little.

Then with things being very quiet on the new release front I thought one would never happen but a whole bunch came upon trusty and I was hopeful at start but then prices came out…I know it has a stated SW200 but at $688

Overall finishing looks good but pics are not great and no video, plus no factory stated so not sure of history if the maker is any good…listed as 44mm but should be 46mm so that’s a complete balls up! I asked and Andrew said factory said 44mm

Enough of me rambling…I was just curious on some experienced members thoughts on why the price is so high?

No idea what factory it is, but it looks pretty good. I was thinking about buying one, but would rather buy the SS version of this superocean and not the DLC. Was waiting for GF to rep this.
The price is so high because of the SW movement.
We have to wait for more pics and maybe videos. But I am not buying this watch for 700, that's for sure...

Price is way too high. Looking at the watch it looks like the crystal maybe has inner ar. It doesn't look gf quality.

Insert markings looks to have paint flaking off. Also hands looks incorrect. Hour hand too long and not as crips as per GEN.

$688 is this a joke? The bezel looks like it was hand painted by a 4 year old!

It looks better as the already existing rep, which looked horrible. But the bezel still is quite bad with this one. Looking a the pictures, it's the same factory as the $1788 costing chronomat. Apparently a factory that wants to fill gap father the raids and took a leap of faith thinking a swiss movement van justify this amount of money.
I don't think anyone on the forums will buy a rep at this prices (especially with flaws like this) But remember, we are not the biggest market...
