Breitling straps

What is the quality of the Breitling straps that some retailers such as Angus sell?

If they aren't worth a damn, who do you recommend for Breitling straps? I'm about to pick up my next Breitling, and want to get a nice black leather and white stitched strap. I know there are a lot of PAM strap guys, just don't know if they do Breitling as well?

My opinion on the rep breitling straps is this:

The mock-croc ones look good - but feel terrible. They are just like, leatherette but thicker. Smell of plastic too.

The "calf" leather ones look fairly gen and feel ok...but are flimsy after heavy use.

I would suggest using BOB straps, as they are superior in quality - and use the rep buckle with them.

Not seen any good aftermarket breitling mock-croc deployant straps though.

The evo lug size is 22mm

SA is 24mm

I agree with Importr, you definitely have to change out the rep strap.
Eventhough the rep calf might look ok, it feels like plastic and smells like glue.

Also check out thewatchprince for good breitling style straps. They have some good baby croc pattern one's too.

I have a SOSF on the way from Precious Time with a brown leather strap!. Could you post the watch strap websites adddresses mentioned in the thread. - I suspect I may need them. One in the UK would be great!

In case anyone id interested Onzenuub at RWg1.1 founnd these blue and black gen rubber straps on ebay for between $119 and $129 complete with buckeles.

Has anyone seen someone who carries breitling metal mesh straps? I want one for a SuperOcean Heritage 46 - but all vendors seem to sell this watch with just the leather strap. I've been looking for sometime now, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just PM'ed Bob on RWG, he doesn't have any leather, or crock 24mm straps for the Heritage unfortunately. Panatime doesn't either. Wonder why no one makes these?
