Just got in my new Skyland Avenger from Michelle at Silix. This is the H Factory remake of the V2. There were some great reviews on the H Factory version of this watch so I had to get one just to see myself. There were a few things corrected with this version. A great review to check out is one by PolonusTM, which I will post below, where he has a nice excel sheet of the pros/cons of the V1, V2, V3, and the V2 remake. Overall very impressed with this watch and the detail.

- I agree with most of what PolonusTM said in his review and will give a few of my own takes on this watch.
- I chose the croco print walnut strap with rep Breitling buckle.
- I haven't owned many reps just yet to be well versed but the AR on the sapphire is great.
- some of the reviews talk about the V2's engravings being less crisp on the bezel, I personally haven't found there to be a very noticeable difference even with loupes.
- the chrono minute totalizer advances perfectly.
Leather strap:
I personally like the leather strap with this watch, however; it's a matter of personal taste. The strap is nice quality, better than most you'll see out there. Most all of the markings are correct and has a nice printed croco pattern. Downside is the strap comes with a very very strong smell. I took some mild hand soap to it with a damp cloth to clean it thoroughly and then let it air dry completely before trying to wear again. It didn't take all of the smell out but it will have to do for now until I get educated on how to remove the smell of the strap. Also, I have a fairly small wrist at 7.25 inches and the strap fits small. It is adjustable but does not slide well in the buckle. You almost have to pinch the two together to clasp it with a smaller wrist.
Overall, great experience with this order. Michelle was able to get the Version and the specific strap I wanted fairly quickly. Shipping was quick (took around 7 days to conus from confirmation of order and QC pictures). I really like the EMS shipping option with orders since you can actually track them. Went with Airmail in a previous order from another dealer and did not have a very good experience regarding the time it took to receive and tracking. Packaging was very secure and packed well to avoid any trauma to the watch. QC pictures were okay, as that is probably the biggest complaint I have seen regarding Silix so hopefully they can improve in that area. Other than that a very pleasant buying experience.
Some details regarding Silix on communication from my previous orders:
Michelle does a great job communicating. Sometimes there's is a language barrier where things are interpreted differently so try to use fairly proper English if you're from the conus to avoid the back and forth emails. I live in the central timezone in conus and she general responds early am or late evening Monday through Friday. I have not ever received communications on the weekend. As a TD, in this forum, she does very well in all aspects. I have ordered from Michelle a few times now and all experiences were great.
