After extensive discussion here:
http://replica-watch.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23644

My conclusion that Asian version comes with correct datefont is wrong.

For this model, SFSO Swiss replica comes with correct datewheel.

The Asian version has a correct datefont for other Breitling model as discussed on the thread (i.e.: Chronomat, Super Avenger, Avenger series).

I rarely do either, but this is tempting.

Although, I plan on taking this bad boy in the pool/lake and other bodies of water, so I'm thinking sticking with the cheaper one is a better idea

The datewheel is big plus for me, thanks for pointing that out taka, if the rep is so close, why "spoil" it with the wrong datewheel...
But whats the $ difference, like 100$? That would be a pretty expensive datewheel....
The datewheel would be the point here, not the movement, since I have lost faith in the swiss movements.

$168 vs $328

That's a pretty decent difference to me ($160, almost double).

I know the AR and sapphire is a pretty big deal, but those 2 things on top of the datefont issue (which no one would EVER know anyone, considering Taka, an in-house expert, had it incorrect for a while) do not make it worth the extra money for me.

But understand, this is just me, I know to a lot of people it is worth it.....

Well... 328 seems to be "suggested" retail price but I believe you can work out the deal with your trusted dealer. Just an indicator, I sold mine, superlumed, mint condition, ETA movement, correct datefont for less than 300USD. Just MHO, the watch itself with Swiss ETA movement is very much worth it.
