Chronos Magazin, German language well-known watch magazine is doing an in depth comparison review of recent fake Breitling such as SuperOcean, Navitimer and Chronomat. They focus more on caseback, case construction, dial construction and movement too. Edition 4-2007, Page 84-86, entitled Fälschungen: Die neuesten Breitling-Fakes. Their one of main tips... in order not to get duped, go and get the watch from AD. Simply the genuine world has realized the existence of replica watches and they take it very seriously as a threat.

There's a mistake on the last 2 pictures on the caseback, A13xxx is for chronomat, A17xxx for SuperOcean, not the other way round.
PS: just a side note (my 2 cents)... funny that they are not particular about date font, etc... I can see that this article is missing some points.

The genuine world is catching wind of the amazing quality of replicas nowadays... not good for us... more cracking down on replicas, genuine manufacturers will soon accomplish... buy your replicas before it's too late!! :twisted: :twisted:
i agree with bob. this brings to the light the accuracy of many of the reps. there will be a backlash.
