A few sceptical members asked whether I really do check my watches for regularity....so I've included a couple of photographs showing some watches being tested......!
PS......in the second photograph.......I had to use a slow shutter speed....so it appears that the watches are 'whizzing' round at high speed......not the case......they revolve at relatively slow speed....
