i have heard that there is an issue with this rep such as the sunken DW, is it true?

It is a beautiful rep, the sunken DW is the main drawback but don't let that put you off. A couple of pics of mine below:

can you tell me perhaps what does sunken datewheel exactly means

It means that if you look at the date wheel at an angle you can see that it is lower than what you would encounter in a gen. It's not quite as noticeable when you are looking straight on down at the dial. It my mind it is a minimal flaw but it is something that screams rep to anyone that knows what they are looking at.

Correct. But the date wheel is so small it would take Superman's eyes to see the date wheel is sunken. Unless someone puts their face right in the watch. And even then they wouldn't know what they were looking at.

This is the 100% correct answer. 99.9% of the worlds population couldn't call it as a rep.................

Also doesn't one of the TDs sell a modified movement to correct the sunken date wheel? Not sure if it is for this model or not.

Where was this one purchased? And the white dials, are they accurate as the gen watches, I noticed that some have the groved/ spiral face and some don't. Here's a pic of two gens that I am talking about.

That to me is a big giveaway, because the white dials have a distinct bend at the edge.

That's the AOPA version ya? Wished it was repped, but isn't it also 36 or 38mm? I'd find it too small.
