Breitling Navitimer 01... which one?

Hi guys. I want to buy a navitimer replica preferably with a blue strap and blue dial that has all functions, as well as the chronograph and all subdials working. I read most of the stickie threads in this forum and I discovered different models. On my journey I found this one here:

I already read the guide to navitimers in the forums, but I am still confused a lot by the different manufacturers and the models and their flaws.

Can you please tell me if this is a reasonable navitimer replica and maybe point out the flaws of this model to me? Thx a lot for your help. If there is a better one can you please shoot me a link?

Is the intime01.co dealer trusted since I would have to ship the watch to europe or is there something more reliable?

The best Navitimer rep for the moment is the Navitimer World from BP, the black one (almost a Super Rep). The model you chose has a sunken datewheel.

If i get a good replica with minor flaws and all functions available as in the gen, the colour is secondary for me.

Yes, is exactly this one. All functions working. But check availability before you order (i´ve heard that some dealers are out of stock for this model)

Have been off the board on a trip for a couple weeks but I too am looking for a Navi World. Have read and researched a lot here and the BP seems to be the one recommended as the closest to true.
My question is - I'm interested in the white dial model and haven't found out yet if it comes as close to true as the black dial BP does. Would anyone here want to venture a guess or personal experience on the white dial BP World? I talked to one TD and they were out of stock. Going to try another.

1. You can do it by yourself, but you´ll have to buy one tool to change straps (wich costs about $2-$5 on Ebay). There are several videos in Youtube showing how to change a watch strap...it will take about 5minutes to learn how to do it.

2. The strap for this model should be 24mm size. I recommend you to buy some aftermarket replacement strap wich looks closer to the genuine one (the specs are 24mm, 24/20, tang buckle...colors black or brown with white stitches) or even buy a genuine one, if you can afford it ($200-$500). There are several sites in the internet that sells aftermarket replacement straps for Breitling, like Waccex, Authentic Watches, the Watch Boys, even Amazon and Ebay (there´s an Ebay store that i like, named "Timepiecerepublic")... For genuine straps you can buy it in any Authorized Dealer (ask for 24mm straps for Navitimer World).

3. Yes, Intime.co is a trusted dealer here. I already bought from them. But any seller from "trusted dealer" section here are trustworthy.
I know some countries like Germany and Switzerland will need to use a forwarding service in UK, but the seller will explain if you need it.

4. If you research RWI forum, you´ll find lots of reviews and opinions about this subject. BP is the best Navitimer Rep. The other Navitimer replicas have major flaws, like sunken datewheels or non-working chronos. And BP is better than JF model because JF uses incorrect date font.

I´ve heard both models from BP are good reps because they were made from a genuine watch dissected. Just between those two, the black comes a little bit closer.

If one dealer says its out of stock, you should ask to other seller from Trusted dealers section. Sometimes one seller can source it for you (specially the smaller dealers..wich usually provide more personalized service).

Dial is actually a very light silver like the gen. I had the white rep and tried on the gen at an AD. BP rep is very good and very gen like.

Sub dials have a slight sunburst effect whereas gens are flat but generally this is a great rep.
Don't put it in water unless you have had it checked and remember this is a pilots watch not a diver so there is no screw down crown.

What about the Blue navitimer world by bp? Colorwise I would prefer this one. Does it have any Major flaws of is it as good as the Black one?

Since you already helped me with the model of the rep, I am currently considering buying the blue one, since I like the dial colour and buying a blue replica leather strap.

The blue is the wrong shade compared to the gen, its got a green tinge, so black is more accurate. Of course you will probably never meet anyone who would know the difference anyway. As for blue rep strap het it from the TD you buy the watch off.

I suggest you get a SS bracelet model as the rep leather is not always the best quality. Better to pick up a custom band or gen leather.


Also, I'm going to throw out another thought from the navitimer line...the Datora Montbrilliant. It runs a 7751 so all functions are the same as gen and it's not as big as the World...I've owned two...
newer style dial...sold this and missed it...




So I picked up this one...it's the older style dial...





Regardless, I do love the Navitimer line although they are a bit blingy and not suited for all situations...

I already browsed the forum but I cant find a dealer that sells the replica of a black leather strap with a replica breitling navitimer folding clasp. I would like to buy the navitimer world made by bp and want to replace the metal strap by a black leather one with folding clasp. Can you help me pls or provide me some links or trusted shops?

Buy the watch with the steel bracelet then get a strap off AliExpress. They are all the same. Just look up "Breitling strap". Then dump the strap, keep the deployant, and get a good croco strap from one of the Vietnamese eBay strap makers.
