The current Avengers mostly have the incorrect date Font and incorrect AR coating. I ended up buying the Avenger Gen to have a great watch. Given your question, Colt or Avenger I can only say…..’Avenger of course! ;-)

If you’re leaning toward comfort and simplicity, go with the Colt, it's cleaner, more wearable daily, and likely slightly more gen-accurate overall.
If you want something a bit more interesting on the wrist and don’t mind a slightly thicker case, the Avenger GMT is a solid choice and still wears relatively well for its size.

To be fair, @arout is right. The watch is quite bulky, so you do have to have a large wrist. But man, aren’t they beauties! And not heavy at all (is my opinion.)
