Breitling Chronomat Movement swap

Hello,

I have a Gen eta 7753 in storage and a beautiful gf Chronomat with a poorly serviced movement.

I know the Chrono second hand and sundial hands won't fit .

I already have a Gen but not Chronomat Chrono hand since they all look relatively similar.

I just can't find gen Chronomat hands but I have a excellent deal on a full set of super avenger hands .

The Chronomat has a square "pinion" cover and the Super avengers are round.


Should I use them or is that going to bug me ?

I don't want to risk destroying the rep hands since there are little to no replacements for them

My watchmaker has never had problems with his hands, everything worked well with ETA 7750\7753, but there will be problems with the date wheel and the window on the dial. They are also solvable, but this is more difficult than with hands.

Finally can swap movement have photo?
I suposse can’t put gen dial ?

Haven't done it yet .The rep movement has worked itself free and is working decent again.Don't change a running system. Especially reps that are no longer made without spare parts .Even though I am reading about a BLS chronomat 44 so I have some hope to get replacement hands and dials for my favorite watch .I will ask c time if he can get me those parts and then do the swap
