After re setting the chrono,it goes just past 12:00. Is there a way to re-set this or is this the type of thing that has to be opened up? Thanks

shit,i am not gonna try it. If not too much,i'll bring it to my reliable watchmaker nearby. Probably charge me like 5 bux....he did the same for me on a buddy's Daytona.

Seriously, you can try resetting it from the opposite side and hope that momentum pushes it back where it belongs. Remember, to avoid this problem only reset within 10 seconds of the 12.

resetting the second hand.
you can fix the problem yourself. just pull out the crown, as if you were going to reset the time, then push the stopwatch push-button that is located at the 2:00 position, keep pushing it again and again till the second hand is at the 12:00 position, then push the crown back in. this will fix the problem.

Woo... we have Nostradamus here!
This probably works fine with some quartz models but not with automatic chronographs.

thanks Taxman!!! seemed to work,for now!! great first post!! :wink: actually this is a cheaper rep that is quartz....shoulda mentioned this at first. this is just a beater watch. i got it cause i liked the looks and i did not want to spend a ton on it.
