Breitling Avenger Chrono Ti Reworked

Why not go further? That's the first question I asked myself this morning. I decided to install lello's datewheel and double AR coat the crystal. It's now on its way to Poland.

Lello's datewheel comes with accurate Breitling font, specifically for this model or modern Chronomat. However, the colour is not dark grey like on genuine Breitling datewheel. Nevertheless it brings the watch one step further

Can't wait to see it all done Taka! I'm thinking about getting the AR done on my Seawolfs and Avengers. I've also found a gen blue dial w/ chapter ring for one of my CA's.

the lello DW makes such a difference....i just had 2 of my bce's done with the DW. looks great so far taka! cant wait to see it after jakub finishes up with the crystal. such a great guy to work with. congrats taka!

Just fixed the lume on the hands too but a litte chip on the dial

Well... You will see after the whole watch is assembled. I am waiting for the crystal now. Should be here next week/next next week.

I am done on this watch! It's as good as the gen (I won't buy the gen of this model... but the Seawolf Ti, maybe). Even these pictures don't do justice to the watch and AR quality.

That looks fantastic taka! I agree nothing more to do to that one. I'm getting ready to put mine together as well. Crystal is ready to go out for AR. It's getting a swiss 7750, Lello DW, mint gen dial, gen strap. I'd even consider getting a Pro II bracelet for it if I ever find a good deal.

Good to know about it TA. Mine just lacking that mint genuine dial and genuine hands but it's already relumed (the hands). Notice that the paint on the dial at 12 o clock subdial is chipped. Stupid taka not careful enough.

But again... I am leaving it as it's. It's a nice watch. BTW, the strap is gen croc. Do you know if Breitling has deployant in Ti? I don't mind paying for it.

I don't think I've ever seen a OEM Ti deployment. I'd venture to say they don't make one. They do make a Ti tang buckle but they only came with the CA is it was bought on rubber originally and I don't think I've ever seen one for sale. My blue dial came with the blue chapter ring on it as well. My 9 o'clock sub dial ring has a very small flaw that I'll get touched up when it gets put together. Your's looks great on the croc though. I remember when that was up for sale. I bought the two Pro Diver straps.

Why am I So Reluctant to Buy an Avenger Skyland?

Pretty much this thread sums it up. Just today, I fixed the bezel on this model and reinstall the crystal (it failed 7 bar pressure test) but held out good for less than 5 atm.

Now it's back in action!... makes me think many many times before getting the new Avenger Skyland. Don't get me wrong, it's an excellent rep (based on pictures alone, it is!). No matter, it won't match the amount of work that I have poured onto this watch.

Have fun people! Tomorrow will be my second last exams and I can't help but to keep starring at this watch

Nevertheless, the price will be close to a used gen. My suggestion: get a used gen. I have seen many on TZ sales corner, hovering at around 1500USD mark. Same thing with Avenger Seawolf. I have seen as low as 1100USD used.

Well.... I think I have been thinking a while about this. The movement is sooooo rare, perhaps I will end up selling this watch anyway :lol: and I will go for the gen :lol:
