Very true, he in fact never takes it off and there are a few closeups too of the dial.
It seemed like the watch should have received a credit as a co-star at the end of the movie.
Breitling must have paid dearly for that exposure.
Also noticed that his co-star (jennifer Connoly?) wears a Omega the whole time, but they hide the face, she is wearing the bracelet upside down.

Awesome watch.
I'm giving serious consideration to selling rep and upgrading to the gen, that's how much I like it. I figure, why not skip the swiss swap and see if there's a deal to be had on a used one. My favourite is the watch on the gen black rubber- which I have but haven't used.
I love that new Cousteau.

*edit: How freaking big did Leonardo's wrists get all of a sudden? A far cry from the Titanic days, I would say. Damned if those aren't 8.5 inch wrists.

Just want to ask: Are you sure it's the Chrono avenger ? Breitling just released a Skyland which look like the Chrono avenger, but it SS, Leather and different Dial (damn I hope to see a rep of this one. Look so nice

The watch got more feature than Omega Planet Ocean on latest Bond movie, although none of the dialogue mentions Breitling or Chrono Avenger.

I have been toying with the idea of trading the CA for a Cousteau, just cause I love the Cousteau and have no other reps of significant value to trade- but I don't think I can do.
At the same time, I don't think I'll be able to get the gen as quickly as I'd thought- it's a little more expensive in the used market than I'd realized.
That has me wondering about doing a swiss upgrade. Basically, doing the takashi, and probably picking up a gen dial as well.
It's all about cost, though. This would be a long term project. I love this watch. It's my favourite Breitling by a fair margin. If I was to trade it or sell it, I wouldn't be able to get it again. I could get the Cousteau in a few months.
How much tak, or anyone, for the movement to be swapped to a sourced cheap swiss 7750?
I'd source the dial myself.
edit- even though the AR on this is pretty good, and probably a lot closer to gen in colour than the aftermarket AR services- I might even do the crystal, just because I think it would be overall stronger, like the genuine crystal.

You can source 7750 pretty easily. I can get mine for 250USD. As for movement and dial swap, not that difficult if you have proper tools.

I hope so and hope that many other also think same and wants the Avenger Skylan...see you 2 pictures of the gen skyland and one pic of the Avengers rep...(perfect of Andrew)
