Today was the day that my Avenger BB from PureTime arrived through EMS. The whole process was super smooth. Not any different, if not better, then dealing with other over seas businesses. From payment till delivery it took exactly 10 days. I will purchase again via PT and am very satisfied with their service.
The watch looks, feels and carries excellent. Despite the arguments from others in this forum in previous threads on poor bezel engravings, I did choose the ZF over the GF.
Reason for choosing the ZF version was not only the 110 dollar difference. The ZF version seems to have, to my likings, a nicer DLC finish on the titanium bezel. It's a little darker compared the the GF, at least on the advert pictures. The poor engravings on the bezel as noted by others, can be diminished as for the average watch lover this ZF version is an absolute beauty. An extra 110 dollars for a 0.3mm or so shallower bezel engraving was, for me, not justified. But who am I, a noob watch lover just like 99% of the people I daily work with. The saphier AR coating looks excellent and the illuminated function glows nicely when in a dark environment.
I must note that the crown is very stiff just like the strap. Other than that its a beautiful time piece, and ZF has given me a beautiful first item for my future collection.
Thank you RWI for the vast information available on the forum, PureTime team for the excellent service and ZF for the nice watch.
