Braun Watches?

Anyone have any experience with either of these Braun watches?

I like the "clean" look....and they're very affordable also.

The chrono watch is priced right at $300.00....the non-chrono at $225.00.

Thoughts?

They have they Bauhaus design ethos about them. I think IWC might have helped them in the 80's and 90's
I actually like the non chrono , I think the Chrono is just quartz and I don't like the 10 - 2 - 6 configurations.
What really puts me off though is the Circular design I prefer more substance around the side and some proper lugs. They seem pretty good value though for a well designed watch.

I have the radio-controlled one. It's a great watch - nicely built, and - obviously - keeps very good time indeed.

They don't look bad, I went to their web-page and looked at a few more. I like the quickly legible, minimalist, design.

I noticed that they all seem to be quartz; but then, even Tag uses quartz. Whats more, if The Watch Snob is to be believed, it might even be the same movement.

Summary: good looking, reasonable range of sizes and styles that appeal to me; but, nothing outstanding that would switch me from my current daily wear watch.

The mesh straps are nice, although I suspect the paint may come off in time. I might try a nice leather strap on mine.

Another thing - these watches are bigger than they look in the pictures somehow.
