Branded or Un-Branded Pam? - Poll

what do you guys think.

branded PAM or unbranded meaning: one has the gen "panerai" and whatever the gen has on the dial, the other does not. at all. just numbers, lume, dial, hands.

specifically, 111, 82, 55, 36 models (non-date w/ second hand)

I think everyone here knows my feelings on this issues. UNBRANDED! just gotta have them!

I can't really vote as I feel both choices should be available.

There are some reps, that aren't 100% true copies with obvious flaws anyway. Having said that, a lot of these are just cool in their own right. So having something like that without a brand or logo would be awesome because you could make it your own. You can mod the lume color and do other mods and just have a "cool" watch---without worrying about replica accuracy per se--just aesthetics

I prefer it unbranded ( preferably w/o sub-second ). But the words "Marina Militare" on the dial is fine...

Yep. I'm with all the other guys. You can then just "accept" the flaws. I'm thinking of doing one of Davidsen's 6152 cases with plexi crystal:

That's cool! I was going to throw a California dial into a Pam 111 case--but the case I was looking at was taken off the market.

I think that everyone buys their watches for themselves, if it floats your boat to have the brand name, then thats great. If it doesnt, then it doesnt.

I like the MM idea a lot, makes it look nice!
