Brand New 251k trouble

So I ordered my first rep from Toro Bravo (well technically 2, but one is for a buddy). I went with the PAM 251k that was on special last week. To my surprise, QC pics were sent the day after payment and the watches arrived today.

I was in a hurry to open them both up and, to my surprise, found them to be identical. This was a concern when I ordered as Toro mentioned they didn't have two brown straps in stock. But they came with brown straps, which was great.

I took out watch one and adjusted the date to 28, set the time and pressed the top pusher to start the second hand. It made it around to about 25 seconds before I stopped it, and reset it. Now, it doesn't start. It's stuck at the 12 position. In fact, when I press the top pusher, the second hand moves to the left a little, and when I hit the bottom pusher it moves a little to the right, to reset back to 12.

I'm pretty new to watches, so I'm hoping that I'm just being an idiot and this can be easily solved. I've played with the other as well, and it seems to be fine with starting, stopping and resetting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I can even post pics if I figure this out!

OK, so after setting the time to 12:00, it started moving. I've pressed the bottom pusher, but it doesn't do anything now...

Sorry but have given the watch a swirl in your hand or lightly wound it yet?

It seems to be fine now. Not sure what exactly I did, but when I set the time so everything was at the 12 position, it started going by itself. I'm guessing I was just a little nervous!

Sounds like it was not wound enough to run the chronograph function.
