Some people like selling watches on Instagram, and that's fine.
I'm a fan of vintage watches, and Bradkasselman_ on IG sources some rare, but cheap vintages. One of his watches earned my attention, he made me a sales offer, I agreed and paid immediately.
I got excited, it was an old Croton Aquamedico, Calatrava style. It really looked like an old Patek. He said he'd ship next day. I'm not a guy who gets all hurried to get tracking and so forth, so I gave him time. Four or five days pass, the watch has not arrived, and no tracking or proof of shipping has been sent to me. I inquire within, and he says he has all of his shipping receipts in his office, he'll get back to me next day. Next day comes, no sign of him. Three weeks pass, and during this time, he talks about USPS and their service etc. Kind of stalling, I sensed. Week Four comes, and I'm pretty tired of the deal, so I sadly issue an ultimatum, saying that he has until midnight of today, May 14th, to refund, and if he didn't, he'd have a PP dispute on his email by 12:15 am. It's 12:21am, no money came, and the dispute is on his email.
It's sad, really, it seems he can't handle his day job and selling watches. He's a good guy, I will admit that, but he's not a good merchant.
I'd exercise caution with him, sadly.
