Just received a Pam 188 and 196 from Toro during his recent sale on these. Really great reps by the way...especially at the deal price.
I always go over every new watch and check all the screws etc. On the metal bracelet I found that almost every screw on the back of the links were loose (there are 2 per link). This may be something that you would not think to check but it would be a pain to loose them because they are very small and a section of the link would fall off (these are not the link pins but are how the 2 piece links are assembled.)
Anyway this is not really a QC issue from the TD as the bracelet is wrapped in plastic from the factory but just something to check if you have bought one of these. The experience with Toro was excellent and great price!
P.S. This is mainly for the Noobs. Always check all the assembly items on a new rep watch - get a set of jewelers screwdrivers - money well spent if you are into this hobby as there is almost always something loose if not most things.
It would be embarrassing to be waving your arm around the office trying to get your coworkers attention so they see your beautiful new rep only to have a piece of the bracelet fly off and hit someone in the eye!
It's bad enough when the pearl from the BP Sub-C pops off and lands in your bosses coffee cup....
