Hello Brietling enthusiasts! Just got my hands on an Avenger GMT from trusty. Excited as I was in getting it, I've been having a little trouble getting the links out. I know I'm supposed to unscrew at least 3 screws and try to yank one side of the link out but mine seems to be stuck. I've since removed all the screws but I still cant get the link out! Any experts can chime in here?

I just fucked up my screw head and can't even get it out anymore. I've tried all different methods such as using a baby oil overnight, hair dryer to warm up, and using ultra sonic cleaner. None of them works. Some reason it's always the last one that I get stuck.. blaming my small wrist.. lol Anyhow, try all these methods and it should work... Also use the correct size for the screw driver. Good luck!

I was very fortune to found a fellow member who can spare extra link for me! Just praying it will get here before my state/country goes on shutdown lol

Don't be using wd40 anymore since it's not safe for use on your skin or in your body. Just make sure to clean it up really good with warm water and little bit of soap. This will also help get all the dirt out from your bracelet making extra smooth and clean :) If all these methods fail.. just have your local watch smith do it for you.

This has happened to me with a Breitling bracelet. I ended up cutting the link with a Dremel tool using a cutoff wheel. I have a skinny wrist so I still had enough links
