there are a number of abbreviations used...pm, and so forth, what the hell do these stand for????
It´s a very nice rep, yesterday I saw the gen and I go with ThinkBachs, the display is not bright enough...Are there any possibilities?
As the movement is the gen eta movement without messing with it there is no way to brighten it......

Maybe it's just the fact that the display doesn't photograph well?
It will be interesting to find out when somebody has one to review.
This is a nice looking piece in the black version.

nope it's dim in real life - B&R get griped at so much for it.... but its no worse than the breitlings.....

suspect the display brightness is a battery life issue. the maker could have bumped up the output but nobody wants to go to the AD and change their battery every 6-12 months I bet.
I'm sure but the gen has a battery of 32 months so this should too....

LCD brightness
The movement is the movement and it is used in several pieces. All of them have the same or similar brightness, if you can even consider it an issue. Example:
Looks okay to me. Just like the Breits, etc. They reversed the LCD so it is primarily dark as a styling decision (or if you are of the belief that they are used for stealth missions, which I highly doubt).
Nevertheless, they can conceivably be lit with electroluminescence at the cost of battery power and appearance. It doesn't seem to be a huge problem for the owners of all these pieces which use this particular ETA quartz movement, although you will always hear some people complain.
I hope Smidsy gets his soon and that he will write it up - then I can decide if I am going to grab one.
