....too bad the ETA movement is "only" a chinese copy...i honestly thought it would be a real ETA...which doesnt cost much..... availability is the problem...ETA would never deliver any movements to china...they know whats gonna happen.
too bad

i know....everyone seems to produce in china now...even Lange&Soehne, Breguet, Chronoswiss and Patek !!
just kidding.....question is....are those real ETA ( even when produced in china ) or copies....and in times of CNC manufacturing....is there a difference ?
I have a 1980 Rollei Camera....produced in Singapur...but as well with german Rollei and Schneider tolerances....not any worse then the real thing.
would be nice to read a comparison from a watchsmith ........ ZIGGY !!!!! Vacuum !!!!!
your opinion please !!

I believe it's 22mm. I do not have a ruler at home, but I compared it with a PAM 24mm band
against the lugs, and B&R (46mm) was a bit smaller.

I also wonder about PVD myself. I know Davidsen's PVD coated PAMs hold up well according
others' posts, but I have no idea about the specific PVD coating used on B&R reps.

I will be able to answer this myself in a month or two when PVD 46mm 01-92 releases :)
