BP FF -> Radiation vs Organic

Hi RWI,

First post as a noobie member here, been a lurker for a while. I've been trying to search the forums for an answer, or even a comparison between the NOOB BPFF radiation vs non-radiation dials. Wondering if any member here would happen to have both, and would help me out by chiming in on how accurate these two models are (in terms of to gen).

I'm also aware that there's a v1 Noob, and a v2 Noob, not 100% sure of what the differences are, but I'm assuming that it's the lume (hence the name: lightning in a bottle). Wondering if someone would be able to clear this up for me . Currently debating between a PAM vs SUB vs BPFF purchase as my first bigboy watch

go with the PAM or BPFF...sub has so many iterations and it keeps getting improved, so you may have an outdated model quite soon. PAM, good selection to choose from check out the guide in the PAM section. BPFF is just a classic watch and not many people have it.. v1 or v2 you'll be satisfied..getting an OEM strap puts it over the top..

A comparison between the NOOB BPFF radiation vs non-radiation dials is not applicable. Look for the individual comparison between rep vs gen.


The main difference between V1 and V2 is the bezel font. On V2 it is more "fat", some say that on V1 is more gen like. Some say about minor differences in AR that I never noticed.
Most important, both versions are awesome and you dont need to bother about V1 because It is sold out a long time ago and mostly no V1 owner will sell it.

The BPFF's to me are the best out of the box reps around. If you have ever been to a boutique in NYC or Vegas you will see subtle differences even in gens but I have held a gen FF and my two reps below are spot on in look and feel

Look and feels is great for both versions. I believe V1 lume color was more true-to-gen, but then again it glows worse than V2. Major difference was the bezel insert font which to be honest is not that different. The worst part of the rep is its subpar case finishing(understandable) and constantly failing hex screws(annoying as hell-you probably want to get them glued)

Get the BPFF V2 you won't be dissapointed at all. One of the best reps out there without any doubt.

I have just now mines in my wrist and it is difficult avoiding looking at it every few minutes, it is big beauty and maybe my favorite rep (and actually I have about 10 more reps Pams, AP, tudor, Rolex, IWCs... none of them can compete with BPFF. I think is the sweet spot.

Thank you guys, this information was quite important for me too. But why so many people claim that it is hard to find FF? I see it now on torobravo and intime etc...?
