Hey everyone.
Just one quick question, i was not able to find an answer for.
I have a BP 1675 and want to try the Marlon Brando look.
I removed the bezel but the inner part that seals the crystal comes off with it and i am not able to separate them.
Anyone knows how to do that?
Thanks a lot for any help!

It’s... hammer time!

Well, maybe not. Have yo removed the insert? Doing that should make it easier to push the ring out of the bezel.

But it could be that the bezel is held on the ring by a wire circlip. That seems to be a favourite BP bezel fastening method. Again, it’ll be easier to see with the insert removed.

Insert is gone. I tried some force with some self made rings to apply an even pressure but it did not help. I am a bit afraid to use to much force.

hello replace it , press it as much as you can , use the the clamp to remove normal watches insert it just before the gasket just a little , and gently tilt the clamp so as to put pressure just on the bezel and not on the entire support

Push on the inner ring as hard as you can, you'll break your thumbs before you break the ring.

I tried that as well before and it still came off together. Seems to be fused:-(_

I did tried to age a bp dial before and went a bit over the top. Well first try. I think there is only so much you can do with that dial and the elevated lume dots.
