bought "good condition 7753 tw" for about $160 usd

So...... i ve been wanting a mont blanc timewalker for a while now not becausr of the branf but because of the design.

Id been searching for a decent looking metal watch for a while and gave up when i stumbled upon a post regarding 7753 TWs.

And here at replica watch info i found a second hand tw for sale and contacted the person.

Pm at first but i found out his email address and phone number myself(the power of internet lol)

Anyhow...he asked for a price of 200nzd and when asked about condition of the watch he obly mentioned the chrono at 3 being wobbly.

He sent me photos and no prob when i saw them.

So i paid him and received it by courier today.

Opened up the package and straight away found the imperfections hahaha

I guess i got what i paid for

1. Button at 5 doesnt reset all chronos, only the big second hand and chrono at 6

2. glue smudge? at the thick dot thing at 7

3. dust between 6 and 7

4. cant really tell in the photo but glue smudge on the big second hand

should i go make a visit?

maybe a watchmaker can remove the dust and the glue smudge(perhaps should talk to the seller and maybe split the cost a bit) ? not too sure about issue 1

For 200NZD that doesn't seem to bad to my eyes... there are always imperfections when you enter the wonderful world of reps

If you're really not happy contact him before you do anything else and see what he has to say.

I found more imperfections,a total of 9, and the seller decided to refund $50. I liked the watch and told him to refund whatever amount he wanted.
