Hello,
I got the ARF GMT2 watch which is meant to have a 72hr reserve.
It has a sticker saying - ARF 3285 super 72hr, however after 30 winds, it lasted 41hrs without me touching the watch.
Have I been sold a v2 instead of a v3?

Waiting for Elliot to reply, normally he replies immediately, but has now gone all quiet. Its obvious I have been missold an old version with a new sticker on it.

Try giving it 60 winds first before making wild allegations !!
Surely it is common sense that a 72 hr Main spring will take a FS more winding than an ~ 30 hr DHG Submariner ?

Hello Dave, sounds like you are having a bad day, don't worry I will try to alleviate your stress.
Elliot instructed me to wind it 20-30 turns, so I did the max of 30 turns.

@981as , perhaps you should reread you post. You started out fine but jumped into offhandedly inferring that you were sent the wrong thing and indicated the TD was non responsive (which seems to not have been the case here).
Posting in this section and in this manner is not a great approach. You have been here since 2020 and haven’t seemed to learn much in that time about how folks behave around here.

Hello,
With about 30 windings, you CERTAINLY haven't wound the clock completely.
You should wind the watch (with about 30 windings) and then wear it for a whole day.
Furthermore, it is possible that the watch was not handled particularly carefully in the post, which often affects the movement (accuracy, etc.).
You should also remember that this is a rep at a fraction of the gene price (it is and still is a Chinese toy).
The td will definitely NOT wind all watches completely before shipping and then test them for 72 hours.
Here the td depends on the information provided by the manufacturer.
Furthermore, you wrote that the watch was labeled (relabeled) with false stickers. Is there any evidence of this? This would mean deliberate fraud, which is a very serious accusation against a TD.

Label on watch said 72hr reserve and TD confirmed this is the case, however it fell well short of this.
He said it could be a factory error, so he is sorting it out.

Judging by that statement it sounds like Mummy and Daddy has still got you watching in the censored kids section of their TV.
