I need to set up a light tent, but it is the first pic ever of all my Pams at once (at least until I get a Base)!

Looks pretty nice, but I see room for a power reserve model. Still real nice!

Very nice collection. Is the background your counter-top :?: Looks kinda familiar.

Have you spent a lot of time face down on his counter top? You're scaring me ...

 well, now that you mentioned it.   NO,NO,NO, and NO. Last time I took it up the arse was when I got the Rover serviced. Still sore from that one. Looks like the surface of my counter-tops in my kitchen.

Actually it's poster board, I have a few different colors and it bends to give me a decent non distracting background ;)

I've had a Power Reserve and a 212 Flyback and they just didn't do it for me. I think the thing I like most about Pams is the simplicity of the dial. I prefer the dials without a minute track and even avoid the automatics because the date window (IMHO) detracts from that simplicity. I just need to decide between an SS Base and a PVD Base :D

My biggest problem with pics is getting the dials to show as black and still have the details show??

You will be glad to know there are a few ways of getting rid of that. I use both.

1) Polarising filter. Wait until Pugwash Tutorial #4 for how/why.

2) What's being reflected? Put a bit of black card there and you reflect blackness. Sorted!

Why do pro cameras come in black? Now you know. :D

I have a couple pieces of black cardboard with a hole cut for the camea lens to poke thru (Canon A75) and that seems to help some but I can't seem to get it right. I may have to go to a local camera shop and see if I can get a polarizing filter to fit my camera!

Thanks :D
