Well, I recieved my PO from Andrew and I must say it looks flawless.

It really is a nice piece and Andrew was fast as blazin and was very professional in the process providing me tracking info before I could ask for it. I will buy again from Andrew.
The Gen strap fits perfectly on the watch with no gaps whatsoever.

I scored the Gen Strap on Ebay for a little more than onfrei wanted but onfrei didn't have the buckle for sale I think? I love the look of the watch with the rubber and will continue to post more pics of new watches in the future.

That 22mm rubber is so much better than the early generation of 20mm rubbers. Even the buckle looks solid and clear cut.

My 20mm strap buckle looks like a Victorian penny. Dull, pitted metal and shallow stamping....

I love that strap..I had one when I had a gen SMP..Hopefully they'll come out with a decent 22mm rep version soon.

To answer your question Yes-they do make a gen, almost exact in specs however my version does not have the orange mark on the caseback as per gen......
-Originally my watch shipped with the steel bracelet from Andrew and even that bracelet was too close to the gen. The only difference I could tell was when you rubbed your finger over the laser printing you could feel sharp edges and unrefinement unlike the Gen which is smooth.


I believe Silix (so I've heard) may have the version to include the laser orange mark on the back but I don't know.

I'm not psychic but judging from the pictures I have seen the rep version of the strap Is NOT the same material or even close. The Gen strap is more like a lighter black similar to the dial.....

The rep looked to be very deep black and looked like a cheaper material. Still, a 35.00 strap is better than a 175.00 gen in terms of price but if you gotta have the Gen I- It's a perfect fit and if you need further push go to an AD and see the Gen!!! You will buy it....

I got lucky I guess.
I was searching high and low for the strap and EVERY time I went to an AD I was asked for the caseback number? WTF? So........I couldn't do that

Lurking on Ebay like crazy I came across this Canadien seller.

I am sorry to say I only found onfrei AFTER I bought the strap but the 175.00 price on their site was excluding the buckle? and not including shipping.

I gotta dig for the screen capture I took of the sale but I bet if you search under 22mm Planet Ocean strap in google the sale should come up.

I believe I paid 219.00 or something for insured shipping and a longtime seller with 100% fb.
