Real night sights are made with tritium which glow for years after being exposed to light just once. I'm not sure about this custom lume job though. Some people think that if a bad buy is behind you, the glow from the dots will give your position away but it's been shown that if a bad guy can see the sights, he's close enough to punch you in the back of the head.
Many people recommend a good flashlight mounted on your bedside gun.

D4Me - btw, if you were ever to be using that Glock for protection in the dark because a bad guy was lurking in your house, wouldn't the lume give your position away?? Don't know if this is a stupid question but it was the 1st thing that popped into my head. I guess if you took the glock out of your dresser drawer and no lights were on, it wouldn't be energized but if you turn the dresser light on because you heard a noise (reasonable) and then reached for the glock, wouldn't it be partially energized?
Looks very pretty though!!
