What do you guys think of Bob straps? I have been looking at some and was wondering if anyone has any input?

Nice product, great price. Having said that, E gets 99% of my business now. You really can't beat him or his specials!

Great product - great price

I just bought a 26mm Vertigo strap. It is absolutely beautiful. Very high quality. Soft feel of very fine ultrasuade or Nubuck. Excellent stitching and finish.

I think the photos on BOB's website are adequate to represent the straps, but some people's photos on the boards are also helpful (esp WatchDude's photos of his 183 with BOB strap).

Just search here and RWG and you'll find more photos of the bands on various watches.

I think his straps are an excellent deal.

Seems I am the only one going against the tide here.

I found the Bob straps a little bland. The leather of the strap that I got is soft but lifeless.

Service from Christian was good when you order but without after sales service. I order a strap from him awhile back and enquiring about the standard straps appeared a little too long for my wrist and requesting that one extra hole to be punched before sending the strap to me. He replied right away and promised that he will do so. The strap arrived from Germany to CONUS in 5 days which was good. But the strap was shipped in factory off the shelf condition without the extra hole punched. I PM him a couple time telling him the fact but he just ignored my PM's.

I guess he is not going to get more business from me. A little apology goes a long way. Ignoring your customer is in-excusable.

wow really? It doesn't sound like MAC (I think that's what he goes by). He gave me some good discounts and top service... and I bought the top tier band from him for around 60 dollars and it's full of life :) I am going to try his new Marino band for my PAM... let you how that goes.
